Basic Creative Visualization

Like any skill, creative visualization becomes easier with practice. Here is some basic information to get you started.

See the outcome that you desire happening like a movie in your head.  Use pictures rather than words, so if you are trying to manifest a new car, see the car rather than repeating the word “car” in your mind. Once you see the car in your mind’s eye, add on the other senses as they apply one at a time— Hear the sounds of that goal happening, smell the surroundings of your outcome once it is accomplished, feel in your mind and body how you imagine you will feel when you accomplish your goal.

So for example, let’s say you are trying to meet a new lover:

  • See them in front of you, wanting you, loving you. Visualize every inch of them, their clothes, their hair, their face, etc. Pay attention to detail-- Does he have a funny wrinkle in his cheek? Does she have blue eyes?

  • Hear your new lover speaking to you in a way that you desire. What would they say? What would you say back?

  • Smell their natural scent, or their perfume, their shampoo, etc.

  • Taste their lips on your mouth after kissing them.

  • Remember how you feel as you visualize all this and recall this feeling each time you recharge your candle.

Let’s say you are trying to make a lot of money:

  • See the money coming to you, your bank account overflowing, your wallet always being full.

  • Smell that newly minted money smell as you count your newfound cash.

  • Remember how you feel as you visualize all this and recall this feeling each time you recharge your candle.

*Note that all five senses won’t always apply—again, it depends on the goal you are trying to manifest. Use your common sense when figuring this out—imagine whatever senses are necessary to complete the picture in your head of your desired outcome.

*It is very important to visualize that you have already accomplished your goal. That is, when you visualize, picture yourself in a successful state rather than in a state of trying to accomplish your goal. If you focus on what you don’t have, you will only intensify that state of not having what it is that you want.

*Finally, remember to picture your goal happening in a good, healthy, positive way. You don’t want to wish for wealth, then gain it by losing a relative and having it willed to you, or have an accident and win money in a subsequent lawsuit. You don’t want to meet the love of your life, then find out he/she’s married or is behind bars.

*Remember that creative visualization is a learned skill, and the more you practice it, the better you will become.
